Floorboards removed
I need to be able to see where all the pipes will go. I have vacummed out all the mess.

Notches
I 'tidied' these notches with the router and filled them with new timber blocks.

Insulation and pipework
I have put 3 inch rockwool between the joist. The lagged water supply pipes can be seen.

Water pipes+
Another view of the water pipes. The green lagging is reclaimed from elsewhere in the house - I have used it to stop the hot warming the cold and vice versa.

This picture shows the radiator return pipe passing to its exit point above the insulation sheet.

Here you can see the area which will be warmed by the return pipe from the radiator. which is just under the floorboards with reflective insulation is to keep the heat going upwards
