Study window work - March to May 2009

We think the bathroom used to have a separate room for a loos as it had a small and larger window, but we wanted a larger window to match that of the back bedroom. SO I made a new sah frame, got it glazed with some sealed units and then foudn some heavy sash weights...

First time I laid the bricks I used too much mortar and we ended up with a gap too small for a brick and too big to fill. We started again but laid the bricks out carefully without mortar first and marked the former.
